Tough enough to stand up to even the most demanding jobsite, the 2239-20 covers 100 percent of general testing applications and provides in-rush current measurement for motor starts to help prevent breaker trips. And thanks to its innovative pistol grip, the 2239-20 offers two key advantages over the competition: it orients its large, 1.57-inch jaws to take accurate measurements of up to 1,000-MCM cable, and it allows you to see the display even when clamped around a wire.
Rated CAT IV 600V/CAT III 1,000V and featuring embedded non-contact voltage detection for safety, this clamp gun offers a current range to 1,000 amps AC/DC and a voltage range to 1,000. It also performs frequency measurements from 6 hertz to 6 kilohertz, resistance measurements to 600 kohms, capacitance measurements from 0.1 microfarad to 4,000 microfarads, and easily tests for continuity.
Equipped with a high-contrast, white-on-black display and a backlight for easy reading, this compact tool owes its comfort and durability to rugged over-molding. An added bonus, an LED work light provides ample illumination in even dark or enclosed areas.
The 2239-20 runs on the same battery as other M12 tools, which means that any M12 battery or charger can be used to power the 2239-20.
